Thanks especially for your helpful comment :) about your idea to post some film critics or reviews: That is a really useful thought. I might try it out but I'm not too sure if I can keep it up that well since I don't really watch many movies often because of school and it keeps getting busier and busier, though, I will try it out some time! Just recently I was talking to someone about the new Sherlock Holmes and she was talking about what she liked and disliked about it like a real film critics :D

this morning on a milk pack, they offered a second cinema ticket free-of-charge when you buy one ticket for "Happy Feet 2" and also collect 4 marks from 4 milk packs :O I was like: 'Should I do it or should I not?!?!?!?!?!'


I hope in the new year and in the future I still get some more interesting comments like these in my blog!!

So how was your Christmas?!


Mine was wonderful!

It says: Merry Christmas!

First day: I spent my time at my grandma's place near Frankfurt and all my relatives gathered there and we ate a feast with lots of food that everyone made themselves and brought from home. Everyone made something different! Like a typical vietnamese family, we sat down on the floor to eat since there was not much space and the table wouldn't fit for everyone. As a dessert we had a really big pie!

Second day: Everyone then drove to one of the relative's house near Stuttgart. Again we had a wonderful feast which was prepared by the best ambitious cook I have ever met! The mother of my dear cousin "BanhBao" can cook ANYTHING! She made donuts on her own and baked some cookies as well!

This is like choco fondue but just with lots of fish or meat and salad!

Third day: Last stop at my aunt's house. She has a pizza restaurant....but nooo we first went to a Chinese restaurant!.....THEN we ate pizza at home in the evening :D we also rocked the party with loud music and disco lights! Fun fun fun! ;>

Conclusion: Christmas for me is a festivity which includes my whooooollleeee family and looooooooots of food :> we talk, we laugh, we sleep and we eat together, do everything together and we enjoy ourselves together! That's what I love about Christmas!

Heeeelllooo guys!!

I just wanted to say: enjoy your vacation! Celebrate Christmas to the fullest, don't open your gifts too fast, and make "all you can eat" have another meaning :)

What's going on on Christmas? Well, my family is meeting after such a long time and we all eat and celebrate together, exchange some presents (mainly the younger ones) and I suppose, we also go to church (my once in a year chance to do something good).

I've already got my presents from my sis coz we won't get the time to exchange gifts later on and as we don't wanna carry all the stuff around, we did it before :> pssst!

I'VE GOT MY DRIVER'S LICENSE!!!!! Finally, never stuck in a car with my driving teacher -__- finally, finally, finally, he was kinda annoying and the more I drove with him sitting next to me, the worse my mood got..


It's already Christmas soon, isn't it?
I've almost got all the present, still not ready but no time to even to go out and look for further presents. Fortunately, I'm going out with friends tmr :) muhahahaha

Since it's late alr and I lack sleep since I began getting those driving lessons (three months ago...), having teacher trainees in almost each class (srsly, they are soooo annoying!!), being exhausted from playing basketball (draining my last bit of energy of the day), I should say good night and til next time!!

End of autumn

What have I done.......in autumn break? :>

1. I've cut my hair shorter again ( I knooooow I wanted to let it grow really long but I just think short suits me better!)
2. I met up with friends (went to a cafe, or a restaurant..)
3. I made my own scarf that looks like a fox!!! (i'll upload some pics as soon as I can)

Basically, I did nothing....
Since my parents came home sick from their trip to China (two and a half weeks without parents is entirelly exhausting, though, the souvenirs are a pretty good reward after all...i'm so easily bribed..), I had no time to relax at home to enjoy some peace after so much studying for exams in school (which will continue right after break).

(Well I did have driver's lessons again this week and I have three more appointments next week which is a lot for me since it's right after school TT___TT
but that doesn't really count..I suppose, since it is somehow related to learning and working and using your brain. So yeah, nope it doesn't count as an activity in autumn break.)

Oh and yeah I DO realize that the title of this post doesn't really fit to the background, but oh well, over here it's so shiny and bright no sign of winter coming at all! I hope you forgive me :9

I was trying to change the layout of my blog, but I've been having some problems with my internet and it just leaves me with an "AAAARRGGGHHH!!" :x

Changes

I'm scared to change.

I fear that I might have changed the way I used to be. The way I talked, laughed, behaved in front of people. I used to be so simple, shy and quiet. What I have become? Loud, cheeky and straight-forward. Well, I accept who I am but I believe I have changed dramatically. 


I became someone who wishes to become the person I was before.
My life was in such order and peace in which I was capable of thinking with a clear mind.
My life is in such disorder and chaos in which I am even unable to see what's in front of me.

How could it have happened?
My body, mind and soul are no longer in one unit. Today I got sick and had to cancel going out with friends for the Japan Day in Düsseldorf which I was looking forward to sooo much!! Was I really that sick or did I have other things in mind...?
My mind was full of tears, desperate not knowing what to be thinking about and how to sort out some feelings which pile up recently. Have I lost focus on what is important in life and what is irrelevant...?
My soul is distressed and uneasy. Circles drawn instead of straight lines. How am I going to see what is right or wrong...?


I need time and peace. I need to calm down and sort my feelings out. I need help, though, I can't really expect any help from my friends...

Or is it just that I feel lonely being the only one left behind and forgotten in the world...?

How school changes your attitude to life

I wish I could stay a child forever, move to the small island of the Neverland and fly with fairies. Getting older means one gets to work a lot more, one cannot play around as much as used to as a child and one needs to stay serious and focus on future. Meeeeh..


School has been so seriously stressful. I don't like it anymore..-___- though, I have to admit, it isn't as boring as in Grade 11 or before that. Even with some stricter teachers, loads of homework and a mountain of "analyze this text"-tasks, I enjoy the classes.
I'm not sure whether I like it or not ~___~


Everything considered, Obama's speech on the memorial day of 9/11 nine years after the tragedy was absolutely heartbreaking (although the sounds of airplanes near the Pentagon was kind of sarcastic), Schwarzenegger's inaugural address consisted of only techniques of persuasion rather than argumentation and Hugh Hefner is a representation for the American Dream.


The only sad thing about all this crazy and cool stuff is: I hardly see any of my friends or only for a short time since I 1. have to change schools for some classes (complicated system, do not ask), or 2. we don't have any classes together, or 3. they are nowhere to be found!!!

Hi again

Just so you know, I'm in 12th grade now! :) and it's a lot of work, have to change schools sometimes as well, it is a difficult system to explain now, however, I'm doing pretty good.
Even though most of my classes are without my friends I hang out with, it's still fine. Better concentrate on class XD well, my teachers are fine, I guess, but still a little unfamiliar to me. We are discussing the American Dream in English Class (btw, my English sucks, wish I could tty all every day again)...

Curing sadness

 Aloha!!

I wanna show you some pics which have a deeper meaning to me right now:

• I am kind of down lately and I just don't like being upset over little things or sad due to tiny matters. It's not worth it.
• Friends and family are being dragged down. 

My solution:
Go out with friend, talk with them about your difficulties in life, they will share their thoughts and can understand you the best.They are half of your happiness.

It doesn't have to be a trip far away, just somewhere relaxing and quiet to clear your mind and chill. You have loooots of time to think about your problems. Stress is caused by feelings of having left behind something important, worries are caused by feelings mixed together and unsorted.


My solution:
Get out for a walk in the forest, on a hill, in a parc, at the sea. Relax and forget your worries for a little while. Take your time sorting out your feelings. Scream out and let yourself go wild.

  
There is no need of destroying the thought of being sad or angry. It is natural and human. Life consists of both ups and downs. However, there is a limit to downs. Ups shall take over. Downs can cause you not only mental illness but also show on your physical health. 


My solution: No need to count calories. If one is down, eating will give you energy to take any challenge given to you. Motivation can strenghten you. I mean not to tell you to fill your stomach to its fullest, just saying: don't forget your health.

 Feeling small in the world makes you not the only one in the world. You just have to consider which environment you are in. A wide and desert-like landscape won't get you anywhere. Just imagine where the oasis is located. See a mirage? The mirage is not the oasis but the disastrous landscape.


My solution:
Look at this picture. I do not feel lonely under those beautiful trees. However, they make me do weird poses...




All in all, I say it is alright to be sad, upset or feel lonely once in a while. Why not? I mean life isn't a fairytale in which a prince comes to rescue you. NOO WAAY! In my little tiny world I want to be able to save myself and be a heroine myself. Why let the prince get all the praise if I could as well? I'm not saying I want to be a princess or anything (no hahaha....^^ keke) but all I'm trying to say is that accepting your bad feelings is good. A very fine start. But getting over it is even better. I don't want to make others worry, so I'll try my best and get this done!

Heeeelllloo world :)

Today I decided to make it a photo session, enjoy!

I was in the capital of Northrhine-Westphalia (the province in Germany I live in), the city Düsseldorf! There flows the Rhine which you can see on the right. My friend, Niko, and I did a little bit of sightseeing and enjoyed the city tour during bright weather.

If you want to ask me what the hell she is wearing, this girl on the left picture, I will tell you it's from H&M a store you can find everywhere in Germany..-___-... . I found matching jacket, leggings and a shirt with the same pattern so my friend, Asli, forced me to try it on.

I did. 

I found a picture with my dolphin hat :) it was shortly after coming back to Germany. Yep I really love it.

And yeah, I found another hat. Actually, it's a helmet for children but I found it extraordinary so I just HAD TO take a photo of it ;)

Not to forget, of course BUBBLE TEA!!!! It's totally in right now. I guess, you guys in Canada can already say it's sorta late. There are a few cities which sell them but it's pretty far away TT___TT POOR ME!! They should expand their shops so I can have a sip of this sweet and delicious drink I desire so much. I miss Vancouver in which you can find those shops like sand at the beach :/

Last but not least:
My family and I enjoyed a super nice day in Düsseldorf (again..this city makes me addicted). I found a cocktail dress for the wedding my uncle is celebrating this winter. I'm reaaaallly looking forward to it *___* and another summer dress. We also went to a Korean restaurant since I have never eaten anything Korean. My mom ate something called Bibimbap and my sister and I shared fried pork in Korean style, totally forgot its name though. The photo you see above is the evidence of not existant evidence of our food :)))) we never leave delicious food!! Praaaaiiisee and Recommendation!!!!

I, finally and totally deserved, have got summer holidays!

Again, it has been some time since I last wrote. Seriously, you missed some things.

Paris was kind of boring but also amusing at the same time. I must say the end was the most interesting thing happening in my life during a class trip: Our bus had to stop in the middle of a highway because an animal bit some ropes or cables. We had to wait 3 hours in the bus. Had to call another bus from Paris to drive us 40 km for approx. 690€ which is around 950$ (nooo we are not rich!!) to wait other 5 hours at an inn which closed at 11 p.m. In the cold, we students had to pray for the bus to get repaired or else we would have been stuck there for eternity (because then, we would have to call a bus from germany and that takes about 8 hours to get to the inn we were at and another 8 hours to get back to germany...). But fortunately, the bus came at 12 p.m. and we arrived home at 7 in the morning while other students from our school prepared to get to school...-.-''

In summer vacation, I, Kimmy, have to study for getting my driver's license.....-___-' so unlucky...the lessons are so boring :/
I'm watching a drama right now, called Sungkyunkwan Scandal, was forced to actually...by my dear sister since she kind of bet she would know whom I'd like in this drama. And exactly right: Song Joong Ki :)) nice bet, sis!

Bam!!!

I sprained my ankle.

I accidently jumped down the stairs. No, kidding. I overlooked a step and fell down and bam! Now it's all yellowish, blueish and purple...swollen and ugly...my left foot
You haven't been missing much lately. We students just relax and do nothing recently since it's almost summer holidays. Our teachers even propose to watch some movies, in my math class it's Hangover 1 :DD whyyyyy noot!

This weekend I'm going to Pariiiiiiiis with my French class (well, only a few of them..) and it's going to be soooo much fun :) (and pain...)

Hangover 2

Seriously, this movie is absolutely amazing :))

I really like those actors, the story is enjoyable like the first one and their increasing problems are (not surprisingly) soo funny! Especially the missing finger O.o

Well to keep long story short: I totally enjoyed the movie (watched it with my younger cousin, he wasn't that delighted I think...) with a pack of Ben&Jerry and a huge amount of popcorn (toooo sweet) and my fav softdrink Sprite . I actually missed about 10 minutes of the movie becoz of the long and seriously sloow queue which took us about half an hour to get to the counter for our ice cream, popcorn and whatever food we ordered (can't remember correctly now..was lots) but we came perfectly right: the protagonists forgot about what happened the night before and so the story began.

Next will be X-Men then...I'm looking forward to it :)

Oh right: I have two exams next week, Tuesday and Wednesday, that is why I have to stay the long weekend at home (not being able to go to my dear cousin's birthday party which I was looking forward to go to)!! 

Hereby I want to apologize to my dear cousin that I will not be able to finish your birthday present before your actual birthday! :(( I'm so sincerely sorry and I hope you will forgive my absence on your special day! In addition, I want to thank you for your wonderful present for me (I always wear the bracelet you gave me, everyday, every time! The key ring is also on my bag I use for school!)

Oh did I tell you about the Eurovision Song Contest?! NO?? How dare I?! It's world wide, ok actually no only Europe wide as the name says. Representatives of each country in Europe participates, we decide who is going to semi-final and who is in final. Last..uh...sunday was the final and I was totally, absolutely, permanently,...ehm, supporting Ireland!! JEDWARD I totally, absolutely, permanently love them! Twins, crazy, funny and entertaining! A world without them is like eating ice cream at the South Pole (weird comparison, but meaning:): IMPOSSIBLE! They ended up on 11th place but STILL they did deserve to get on 1st place, seriously, I mean it.

Hi guys ;)

My school isn't as exciting and full of events as yours but I still do have some entries in my calendar because of school!
Firstly, my P.E. class plans on doing a get together to grill outside of school just 4 fun.. since the next exams are going to be from end of May to end of June, we planned on meeting after all the exams.
Secondly, my French class (maaaaybe) plans a trip to Strasbourg in France since we have had Alsace, in the east of France, as a topic for a while now. My teacher thought, it might be interesting rather than going to Paris everytime.
Last but not least, as I have already mentioned: Paris. It's in July, though. My French class drove there once already in 9th grade. But we have an opportunity to visit Paris one more time in 11th grade which is why I'm gone from July, 16th-19th!

Hey hey ;)

Weekend is coming and I have no plans..o.o well,...
I was cleaning my home (sweet home) yesterday and I was thinking, I would really like to live alone. Would be kinda cool I thought. 

• But cleaning everything up is sooooo tiring?! A house maid! Ok. Done.  

• But I can't cook?! A personal cook and health teacher! Ok. Done.  

• But where do I get all that money?! Marrying a rich old man and wait till he passes away! Ok. Done.  

• But living in a house in which somebody else does the housework and somebody else cooks for you is still sort of lonely, isn't it?! A dog!!!!! Ok. Done :)) finally.

Hahaha, I'd die of boredom. Well, life is that :) boring. You have to do everything on your own. That's what I realised yesterday. Yup, during the time I was cleaning up, I imagined all that..how my home would look like, how my cook would look like ( ^v^ ), and how boring my life would look like. 

So that's why! I will do my best to live a wonderful life with all sorts of obstacles and with no complaining. Everyone: Don't give up! Live your life to the fulleeest and say: I can do it!

Well anyhow, my exams which I've told you about are over and the next one is coming by the end of this month ... 
What has happened during the time I didn't post anything: My biiirthday^^ yup! And Easter, but that's not as important as my biiirthday^^ yup!
I've celebrated with my friends one day before into my actual birthday and drove home like so early in the morning. And when or why did I wake up again? 6 a.m. only because a stupid fly was bzzzing around in my room and stopped every 5 seconds on my shoulder, ewww!! And then my sister kicked me. On that day, my cousins visited me and we watched a movie "Red Riding Hood" and had lots of fun. I wish everyone who had a birthday around March or April until now a Happy Birthday and to whom I haven't said it to before. And I hope for you that you didn't get three birthday cakes at the same time... =.= it's hard to finish, I tell ya!! But I got a Hello Kitty cake, so cute!
School started this Monday again. Spring Break was pretty funny but too short. Wish I could have seen you guys some more..why are you guys never on when I am (on skype/ FB/ or what(so)ever).


I will take some time with my next video. My city isn't that wonderful to show around so I'll use some other material as well. I'll be spontanous I guess, like I always am :)) lol

It has been a while~

Hi guys, sorry to make u wait!
I know i took a while to post an entry again. But I have an excuse :P
School has become more difficult and I have to get serious from now on. It will take some time to catch up with everything and learn everything they've learnt in the half year. Gosh, I wish this school wouldn't be so hard. It's a lot more complicated and difficult than when I was in Van.
Math is my problem child :D well, I'm improving, trying to understand and I'm getting the hang of it. I have to study a lot like a diligent child from now on, so I won't be able to post anything in the next few weeks since I have my exams. I'll try to make a new video after that, as a reward I guess haha. Any wishes what I should include? I heard someone wants canto words in my next video^^ ok, I will put it somewhere hehe...I just need some inspirations of what to make, so I need your help! COMMENT PLZ :*

Hello World!

Hi guys!
I created this blog for you, so that you will never forget me and still see how I'm doing over here in Germany. My plan is to write about daily stuff, do video documentaries of me and tell you just how I live. "Maybe you would like to know", is what I thought.

I arrived safely but the flight was tiring. So right now, it's 10.30 pm in Germany and I should be going to sleep so that I can get used to sleeping and waking up normally again. In Van, it should be around 1.30 pm. You lucky people still have sunday. Saturday flew away from me and I overslept sunday. Ok, this is just the beginning, so I hope that you will look into this once in a while when you think about me or miss me (if not, then do it for your entertainment!) :D

Since it's so late now (but I really wanted to create this now to get it done, was so excited!! >< keke), I will continue another time. I can assure you that I won't be able to write some posts every day, or every week! Only if I have the time, the feeling, the need, the inspiration and/or the motivation. Don't expect too much :3
